- Check injector for electrical fault, of cylinder 5 - Check wiring - Replace injector - After repair, restart engine to remove the fault.

System reaction
- The system will continuously try to use the injectors regardless of malfunction - Maximum torque is not achieved - Engine starts badly or doesnt start at all - Engine has misfire and runs bad

Detection
- Permanent open circuit detected on the injector coil(s) or the cabling to the injector(s). - The fault is detected only when engine is running.
Possible cause
- Cables or the injector connected to cylinder 5 malfunction. Probably the cable(s) or the coil(s) is broken.
