Replace hardware.For engines with NOx-control software, confirmation of repair requires:- Turn the ignition on, wait at least 30 s If the fault is remedied, the DTC should now be passive.

Diagnostic depth
EEPROM type detection error.The low level driver software in the EEC unit supports two different EEPROM. This error is set if the driver doesn’t have knowledge of the current mounted EEPROM. This error is validated when the application SW writes to EEPROM. Two EEPROM types are supported: ST95P08 or M95080.(Refer BOSCH SW-specification Y281S01334-VC0 for more details. Wrong hardware. Hardware failure, due to wrong EEPROM is mounted in production.
