Main relay in the EEC system
If fault code 1619 is generated at the same time the problem is probably not in the EEC system. If fault code 1619 not has been generated, check harness for power supply and the main relay circuit.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
A complete afterrun is not performed. Urea is left in hoses and in dosing nozzle which can cause freezing, this will probably damages the EEC system. Adaptive values stored in non volatile memory (EEPROM) are not updated due to incorrect disconnection of power supply.
Diagnostic depth
The main relay is shut off too early.(Refer BOSCH SW-specification Y281S01334-VC0 for more details. Error path: ep04_s_def_ouw.1, emrl_s_def_ouc.0.)
The main relay may be defect or disconnection of power supply before the EEC system is shut down. Note that it may take up to 90 seconds before the system shuts down after switching the starter key off.
