EEC system is still awake which will increase power consumption and possible discharge the battery.

Detection
The main relay is not shut off when it is intended to, i.e. it shuts off to late. The main relay is switched OFF by software after storage off adaptive data in non volatile memory (EEPROM). If the EEC system is still running after main relay is shut off will an error code be stored.(Refer BOSCH SW-specification Y281S01334-VC0 for more details. Possible cause
Defect main relay or wiring.
