Pump motor speed in the EEC system
Clear the fault codes. Turn the ignition off, wait for at least 90 seconds and turn the ignition on. Repeat this a few times. If the fault code is regenerated, check urea lines and connections between the pump and tank for leakage. Note that it may take up to 90 seconds before the system shuts down after switching the starter key off.If fault code 1020 for internal leakage is generated, trouble shoots through that.If the fault still remains, renew the EEC system.For engines with NOx-control software, confirmation of repair requires:- Turn the ignition off, wait at least 90 s- Turn the ignition on If the fault is remedied, the DTC should now be passive.

Diagnostic depth

The pump motor over speed might be caused by: - Air in the urea suction line, - Internal leakage after the pump, - Defect pump urea level sensor. urea level sensor.
