Sensor supply 1 in the EEC system
Check the sensors, connectors and wiring. The sensor resistance should be between 397 ohms and 92 ohms. For engines with NOx-control software, confirmation of repair requires: - Turn the ignition off, wait at least 90 s - Turn the ignition on If the fault is remedied, the DTC should now be passive.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
The urea injection will be shut off when this fault code occurs. For engines with NOx-control software, this DTC is classed as a type D failure.
Diagnostic depth
The voltage has been above 5.20 V, i.e. the sensor supply 1 voltage in the EEC system has been above its upper limit. (Refer BOSCH SW-specification Y281S01334-VC0 for more details. Error path: ep04_s_def_ouw.15, ass1_s_def_ouc.0.)
One of the sensors connected to the sensor supply 1 in the EEC system is shorted to the battery voltage. It may be one of following sensors: urea level sensor.
