Pressure sensor
Compare the values from all 3 pressure sensors: atmospheric pressure, charge air pressure and exhaust gas pressure.Ensure the engine is switched off but the power is switched on. All 3 sensors must show the pressure corresponding to the current atmospheric pressure.Check the cable harness and connectors of the sensors.Renew the sensor or sensors that deviate from the actual pressure. To devalidate the fault code after the action, ensure that the engine is hot, switch on the power using the starter key, wait for 30 seconds and then start the engine. The fault code must be devalidated immediately.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
No system-reaction text recorded.
Diagnostic depth
The atmospheric pressure sensor and charge air pressure sensor values do not match. The atmospheric pressure sensor indicates a higher value than the charge air pressure sensor.
Fault in one or both sensors. The sensors are blocked by dirt.Fault in the cable harness or connectors.
