Second source conflict - vehicle moving
1) Check cable harness. 2) Check for evidence of tampering. 3) Check DTC related to 2nd source in the vehicle (ABS/EBS). 4) Check if there is CAN communication problems with other ECU:s on the same CAN bus. 5) Check CAN communication/gateway in COO. 6) Pair another motion sensor with the tachograph and check if it is working. 7) If the other motion sensor is working, replace the faulty motion sensor and perform a calibration of the tachograph system.
What you'll see
tbd
System reaction
* Event/Fault data 0x0A is stored in the tachograph. * Warning displayed in the tachograph display. * System event in TCO1 CAN message set to active. * Tachograph warning displayed in the instrument cluster.
Diagnostic depth
For 60 seconds, motion sensor indicates standstill but 2nd source of motion indicates a moving vehicle
* Faulty motion sensor. * Tampering. * Fault in CAN bus medium. * Fault in ABS/EBS system. * Fault in CAN gateway COO.
