MC25: Data memory error MC29: Card conflict MC30: Over speed

â–¶ How to fix

MC25: Measures – Check DTCO4.0. If the error message appears over and over although it has been acknowledged via "OK" button, replace the DTCO4.0. MC29: Measures – Check the combination of the inserted tachograph cards. Invalid card combination; MC30: Measures: – Check the programmed maximum speed – Reduce speed.

What you'll see

No driver-visible symptom recorded.

System reaction

MC25: - These warning messages will be displayed repetitively every hour until the cause is withdrawn. - These warning messages are not saved in the data memory during calibration mode. - Fault warning messages MC29: - This event is stored in the DTCO (only for the legal related events/faults). - This event has duration or is just triggered for a point of time. - Fault warning messages MC30: - This event is stored in the DTCO. - This event has duration or is just triggered for a point of time.

Diagnostic depth

Detection

MC25: Error in data memory. MC29: The DTCO detects an invalid tachograph card combination; MC30: The DTCO detects an over speeding;

Possible cause

MC25: Due to an error in the data memory of the DTCO4.0, data security is no longer ensured. Triggers: RAM check after reset, flash memory write acknowledge, data pattern match in stored data/persistent data MC29: Invalid card combination in card slots 1 and 2; these two tachograph cards may not be inserted in parallel at the same time. MC30: The programmed maximum speed was exceeded for longer than 60 seconds.
