Check the code displayed in the tachograph display. 42, 47, 48: Check the digital tachograph card. Check the digital tachograph card in another tachograph. Try a fault-free digital tachograph card in this tachograph.43: Check that the digital tachograph card is correctly inserted, remove and reinsert the card and check that the card holder lock mechanism closes properly.44: Make a note to the supervisor that the digital tachograph card has been used incorrectly or used in a previously defective tachograph.45: If the UTC time in the tachograph needs to be corrected, use the special tachograph test instrument to do this.46: Operator fault. Tell the driver not to insert the digital tachograph card when the vehicle is in motion.
