Check the cable harness. Check whether any prohibited changes have been made. Check fault codes for ABS/EBS. Pair up a new impulse sensor with the tachograph and check whether it works. If the new impulse sensor works, renew the defective impulse sensor and calibrate the new impulse sensor with the tachograph.
