What you'll see
ECA short circuits their motor and vehicle needs key off/on to reset the error
System reaction
If vehicle is standing still, neutral position will be engaged. If driving, locked gear. Neutral position will be engaged when braking to stop. After this the vehicle will not be able to drive off.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
Supply Voltage of less than 5V is detected on either main circuit or MOSFET/Safety-circuit. This is measured every 1ms
Possible cause
1) voltage supply cables loose/oxidized 2) low battery
