ECAKB4: High Temperature
â–¶ How to fix
Check if the ECA expose to high temperature from the gearbox or other nearby components. If the gearbox temperature is too high check the cooling system.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
If active for more than 15min or ECA reaches critical temperature ECA enters safe state. Neutral position will be engaged when braking to stop. After this the vehicle will not be able to drive off.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
The DTC is set if the motor temperature or ECU temprature exceeds 140°C for at least 1s.
Possible cause
ECA exposed to high temperature.
