Detection

3 s after reset when voltage is in normal range *);Timeout of ASC1 *) Normal voltage operating range according to SCANIA document TB1700 (date 2000-01-28; Issue 1). A threshold of 0,6 V is implemented when the supply voltage increase from Low Voltage or decreases from High Voltage With this the threshold values are: OverVoltageSetThr= 30 V -> a supply voltage above this level is detected as over voltage and will suppress the CAN TimeOut detection OverVoltageResetThr= 29,4 V -> the supply voltage must fall below this level after detection of over voltage to enable the TimeOut detection again LowVoltageSetThr= 22 V -> a supply voltage below this level is detected as low voltage and will suppress the TimeOut detection LowVoltageResetThr= 22,6 V -> the supply voltage must rise above this level after detection of low voltage to enable the TimeOut detection again

Possible cause

Failure in external ECU; wiring failure; CAN Failure
