System reaction
- this DTC is stored in the error memory - heating operation is disabled - if failure occurs during start of heating operation, the start will be aborted due to missing flame detection (see DTC 0x0DF0E7 - no start) and failure afterrun is initiated Heater Actions: * This DTC is an error * Temporary Interlock is activated * counter "SZ / general error counter" is incremented
Diagnostic depth
Enable Condition: This error is monitored every time before glow plug is activated. Mature Threshold: Open load in glow plug circuit detected. This DTC is reported by the heater core software. De-mature Criteria: Stable combustion reached after restart of heater: Heating request is switched off (HeaterModeRequest = DeactivateHeater) and on (HeaterModeRequest = NormalMode) and state HEATER RUNNING is reached
- defect glow plug - glow plug not connected to ECU - defect in wiring harness - ECU hardware failure
