- this DTC is stored in the error memory. - start procedure is aborted - failure afterrun is initiated Heater Actions: * This DTC is an error * Temporary Interlock is activated * counter "FSZ / failed start coutner" is incremented
Diagnostic depth
Enable Condition: This error is only detected while starting phase. (LS.Internal.HeaterStateSimplified = HeaterBurnerStarting) Mature Threshold: Formation of flame not detected within 240 seconds of fuel feeding. (legislation) This DTC is reported by the heater core software. De-mature Criteria: Stable combustion reached after restart of heater: Heating request is switched off (HeaterModeRequest = DeactivateHeater) and on (HeaterModeRequest = NormalMode) and state HEATER RUNNING is reached
- no stable flame even after repetition of start procedure (bad fuel supply, blocked combustion air system, worn burner assembly, worn glow plug)
