Plausibility test indicates OMV stuck in closed position
* If the fault only occurs at very low temperatures(-30C), the oil might have to be replaced. See service litterature for recommended oil quality in cold climate. * Perform a Diagnostic SelfTest (requires Parking Brake to be applied) by turning off ignition, wait 10 seconds and then turn it on OR through SDP3. - Wait for self test to finish approximately 30 seconds. - If error still active change the valve unit assemby. * If error heals look at counts - Low count of errors indicates that self test was disturbed by outer forces which induced pistion movement (no error). - High number of counts indicates that somthing is wrong with OMV which reappears frequently but still not permanently. Change the valve unit assemby. - If the root cause fault has been fixed, this DTC will be set passive.

System reaction
Red Steer tag axle fault warn EST in released or fixed mode
Diagnostic depth
Plausibility test indicates OMV stuck in closed position. Component code V197.
* Extremely low temperatures will cause oil to solidify, thus jamming the valve * Outer force was applied during self test on steered axle. * OMV is not responding as it should - Something inside OMV is broken.
