Detection
The control unit has detected that the sump oil temperature has been lower than or equal to a calibrated value for more than 2.5 seconds.
Possible cause
Possible cause of the fault can be damage to the cable harness or short circuit of pin 54 to battery. If the fault codes 2185 and/or 2743 are both set, there is a very high probability that one of the cables connected to pin 54, 35 or 75 is short circuited to battery. The fault code can also be caused by an open circuit in the cable harness to pin 54 or 58.
