Check the cable harness between gearbox and control unit, particularly the cables to pins 12, 44 and 58 on the control unit. If no fault is found, contact an Allison dealer.

Detection
The control unit has detected 5 V or more from the retarder pressure sensor.
Possible cause
Probable cause of this fault code is short circuit to battery in one of the cables to pin 12 or 44 on the control unit. The fault code can also be caused by an open circuit in the analogue return cable connected to pin 58 on the control unit.
