System reaction
When the DTC is active, the ACS malfunction warning will be active and the system will enter limp home mode. The warning and the engine torque limitation shall be requested by any ECU that detects this condition.

Detection
The DTC becomes active if there are forbidden signal combinations from the pin coding at the start of a driving cycle. The DTC becomes inactive if there is a correct signal combination from the pin coding at the start of a driving cycle.
Possible cause
Faulty connector or cable harness. Connector not completely fastened.
