When the DTC is active, the ACS malfunction warning will be active and the system will enter limp home mode.

Detection
The DTC becomes active in each node when it has not received a specific message from the other node via the rose CAN bus for 5 seconds The DTC is not set to active if the diagnostic command “disable normal transmission” is active. The DTC is not stored when DTC 0x0006 (Other Node Missing on Red) is pending or active. The DTC becomes inactive in each node when it has received the specific message from the other node via the rose CAN bus.
Possible cause
Short circuit or open circuit in the cable harness.
