Check the switch, connectors and cable harness.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
When the DTC is active, it is not possible to override the end position. Apart from this, the system will function as normal. There will be no warning and no limp home mode.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
The DTC will become active when the switch has been continuously active for 30 minutes. The DTC will become inactive when the switch has been continuously inactive for at least 10 seconds.
Possible cause
Defect switch. Short or open circuit in the cable harness.
