System reaction
When the DTC is active, the ACS malfunction warning will be active and the system will enter limphome mode.
Diagnostic depth
The DTC becomes active when the signal to the right proportional valve is interrupted or short-circuited. For interruption, the validation time is 10 seconds. For short-circuit, the DTC is stored if the vehicle is moving only, and in that case it is stored immediately. After interruption, the DTC becomes inactive when the signal has been OK for 5 seconds. After short-circuit, the DTC is tested every 10 seconds initially, and later every 30 seconds. When one test has shown that the failure is gone, the DTC becomes inactive.
