Check the GMS ECU. Also check other systems on the red CAN bus for related DTCs.

No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
The GMS is not working correctly or it has lost connection to CAN. Red CAN failure.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
The DTC becomes active when the ACS has not received a specific message from the GMS for 5 seconds. The DTC is not stored during IgnitionOff, EngineStart or HighVoltage. The DTC is not set to active if the diagnostic command “disable normal transmission” is active. The DTC becomes inactive when the ACS has received a specific message from the GMS.
Possible cause
The GMS is not working correctly or it has lost connection to CAN. Red CAN failure.
