No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
If the failure occurs during driving, the ACS malfunction warning will be active and the system will enter limp home mode. The damping to the left valve will be doubled when this error occurs to compensate for the lost damping in the right valve.
Diagnostic depth
The DTC becomes active if the current flowing through the valve has been to high for 0,5s The DTC becomes inactive if the current flowing through the valve has been at normal level for 0,5s this test is only performed once every 20s The DTC is only being Activated/Deactivated if the Vehicle speed is above 20km/h and one of the conditions above are fulfilled. Or deactivated if an Open circuit is detected in the valve circuit. The DTC also becomes active if a short circuit is detected while reversing against articulation end positions.
Faulty connector, cable harness or broken valve.
