Remove the unit not matching the rest of the vehicle, and replace it with a unit containing the correct software generation (i.e. correct spare part number). Check that the ACS unit has the correct software installed. Tip: • Check retrofitted ECU units (if any). • Check the unit most recently exchanged for a spare part.

• An ECU unit with a software not compatible with the ACS, has been connected to the SubCAN bus. - E.g. an ECU has been retrofitted, which has a newer software generation, than the rest of the vehicle. - E.g. an ECU has been retrofitted incorrectly, i.e. connected to the wrong CAN bus. • An ACS unit with a software not compatible with the vehicle, has been installed.
