XBR system state error, interface reported unavailable by BMS
• Spare part program the BMS unit. • Check the BMS for DTCs • Check the BMS spare part number. Replace BMS unit if BMS SW does not support XBR.
What you'll see
Articulation end position protection is still active, but with severely reduced functionality. Elevated risk of damaging the articulation unit, especially when reversing the bus to the articulation's mechanical end position.

Brake Management System does not currently accept any external brake requests (XBR).
• BMS configuration fault (not configured for ACS). • A BMS unit with software not compatible with the vehicle, has been installed. - E.g. a spare part BMS has been installed, which has an old software generation, not supporting XBR. • Any ECU that utilises the XBR interface is triggering a checksum error in BMS.
