Reductant pump feedback, open load or short circuit, or open load on the pump voltage supply.

â–¶ How to fix

Check for electrical faults on the pins on the EEC control unit (E67) that are connected to the reductant pump (V183) feedback, or the pins on the control unit (E67) that are connected to the reductant pump supply. For a detailed harness and pin description see the electrical component, under the check tab, in the diagnostic tool. For a general description about different methods for electrical failure checks see the work shop manual subgroup 16-70. In order to inactivate the electrical fault code it is necessary to restart the EEC control unit and activate the actuator. This can be done by first cycling the ignition and then running the reductant circuit test with the diagnostic tool or cycling the ignition and then running the system in such a way that the actuator is activated.

Detection

The EEC control unit (E67) does not get a speed feedback signal from the reductant pump (V183)

Possible cause

1. An electrical fault on the pins connecting the reductant pump (V183) to the EEC control unit (E67) 2. The reductant pump (V183) is broken 3. The voltage supply to the reductant pump (V183) is interrupted
