Reductant tank temperature, too high.
1. Use the diagnostic tool to run the SCR thawing test in order to determine if the reductant heater coolant valve (V118) is blocked open. If the reductant heater coolant valve is blocked open change the tank heater valve. Also make sure that the valve is fitted correctly, i.e. that the coolant flow direction through the valve is correct. 2. If the reductant heater coolant valve is not blocked open, use the diagnostic tool and try to determine if the reductant tank temperature sensor gives a normal value. If the reductant tank temperature sensor does not give a normal value, change the reductant tank pick-up. Also make sure that the reductant tank installation is approved by Scania.

Diagnostic depth
The reductant tank temperature sensor (T116) shows a too high value.
1. Broken reductant tank temperature sensor (T116). 2. Reductant heater coolant valve (V118) stuck open. 3. Reductant tank installed in too hot environment.
