Reductant pump motor has turned itself of due to too high reductant pressure
1. Use the diagnostic tool to run the dosing test with max dosing on the downstream dosing unit, log the maximum reductant pressure measured. 2. If there is a high pressure issue somewhere in the system the pump will turn off and the test will fail 3. if the test fails, run the pump flow test 4. If fault remains, check the harness and connectors between the EEC control unit (E67) and the reductant pump (V183) for electrical failure. 5. if the pump flow test is ran without issues, if prevoiously logged pressure is below the limit replace filters, otherwise troubleshoot the return line 6. Verify that the fault is gone with the dosing test with max dosing on the downstream dosing unit 4. If no electrical failure in the harness or connectors are found, or if the filter replacement did not solve the issue change the pump.
What you'll see
The pump turns itself of for 7s or more during pressure buildup or during operation,
System reaction
No system-reaction text recorded.
Diagnostic depth
Reductant pump motorboard sends a predfined faultmode indicator over the feedback pin.
1. Clogged main filter in pump 2. Clogged inlet filter in dosingunit 3. Internal blockage in dosingunit 4. External force causing a flow restriction in a hose 5. Blocked return pipe in pickup unit
