Downstream reductant dosing unit injection valve, short circuit to battery.
Check for short circuit to battery faults on the pins on the EEC control unit that are connected to the downstream reductant dosing unit injection valve. For a detailed harness and pin description see the electrical component, under the check tab, in the diagnostic tool. For a general description about different methods for electrical failure checks see the work shop manual subgroup 16-70. In order to inactivate the electrical fault code it is necessary to restart the EEC control unit and activate the actuator. This can be done by first cycling the ignition and then running the reductant circuit test with the diagnostic tool or cycling the ignition and then running the system in such a way that the actuator is activated.
