Check for open load faults on the pins on the EEC control unit (E67) that are connected to the upstream reductant dosing unit injection valve (V231). In order to inactivate the electrical fault code it is necessary to restart the EEC control unit and activate the actuator. This can be done by first cycling the ignition and then running the reductant circuit test with the diagnostic tool or cycling the ignition and then running the system in such a way that the actuator is activated.
