Upstream NOx sensor supply, short circuit to battery

â–¶ How to fix

Check for short circuit to battery faults on the pins on the EEC control unit (E67) that are connected to the upstream NOx sensor (T131) supply. For a detailed harness and pin description see the electrical component, under the check tab, in the diagnostic tool. For a general description about different methods for electrical failure checks see the work shop manual subgroup 16-70. In order to inactivate the electrical fault code it is necessary to restart the EEC control unit.
