DC link ripple voltage very high

â–¶ How to fix

Check for ripples in the HV DC side and find the source component of ripples to rectify. Check for ripples while charging and running the AC compressor, from different charging stations.

What you'll see

No driver-visible symptom recorded.

System reaction

System will operate in warning mode. It may deteriorate the component life.

Diagnostic depth

Detection

Internal voltage sensor sees high frequency AC voltage superimposed on the DC input voltage

Possible cause

Ripples on the vehicle HVDC link. This could be because of ripples from other components connected to the DC link or VCB. Most probably, it can occur while charging and running the HVAC. The Charging station could be the source of voltage ripples.
