Diagnostic depth

Detection

The Passenger Fire Alarm has been activated through CAN.

Possible cause

- Fire - in the event of a real fire, the sensor will be destroyed and a genuine fire event will occur In this case the sensor is triggered by the body system. If necessary documentation from the vehicle body should be used to further identify and confirm the cause . However, the following causes are suggested as likely; - Broken/tripped fuse for the fire alarm circuit - Broken sensor input - the sensor may become damaged, for example during maintenance work in the vehicle - Disconnected sensor input - if the sensor is not connected, the default behaviour may be for the alarm to be issued
