DCC internal HW error

â–¶ How to fix

• Reset DTC • Toggle ignition key to "key off" and await system reset then "key on" i.e. system wake up. • Read out DTC's again • If DTC remains active replace the direct current converter E84.

What you'll see

No driver-visible symptom recorded.

System reaction

• DCC will be disabled and enter error state or reduce the output current to 50% depending on fault. 24V-battery not charging correctly. • Amber warning lamp "Hybrid System Fault" is shown in ICL

Diagnostic depth

Detection

One of the following error flags are sent on CAN from DCC: • RAM Error • Internal watchdog reset • External watchdog reset • Heat sink temperature sensor 1 not connected or short circuit • Heat sink temperature sensor 2 not connected or short circuit • All heat sink temp sensors faulty • 15V supply voltage low or high • 5V supply voltage low or high • Minus15V supply voltage low or high • Step up voltage to low • Low side current sensor error • High side current sensor error • Lowside voltage sensor error • EEPROM checksum error in application and CANopen parameter segments • DCC sensor calibration
