Heater timeout, not responding

Check if it is possible to start the heater from the CCS panel. Check if it is possible to start the heater from the ICL timer menu. Check if other units connected to the bus receives CAN data from AHS. Check the cable harness.

System reaction
Not possible to start the heater remotely.
Diagnostic depth
Detection
No CAN messages from the CCS is detected. The DTC becomes active when no CAN data is received for 7 sec after the request for heater setting has been send. The DTC becomes inactive if the application recieves a message with the correct heater setting before the timeout.
Possible cause
Fault in the CAN cable harness. Fault on the CAN bus. Fault in the Heater ECU . Faulty EOL settings.
