Remove USB memory and check if DTC still remains. Remove adapter cable and check if DTC still remains. If the DTC still remains active after removing memory and cable the failure is located in the RTC ECU, change unit.

It is not be possible to read data from USB memory attached to the USB connection. Therefore it is not possible to update map data.

The USB connection is checked every time the connection is used by a service. The DTC becomes active if the USB connection consumes current above a given threshold during use of USB connection.
Possible cause
DTC occur due to short circuit or other problems in the USB connection or use of damaged/not suitable USB devices.
