Difflock PWM 1 Overload.
- Check wiring (to V10, PWM Output 1) - Check connectors (to V10, PWM Output 1) - Check differential lock rear axle's valve • Measure the resistance between the inputs to V10 for internal short circuit, it should be around 60 Ohms. - Measure the applied valve voltage between signal to V10 and ground, it should be 24 V. Invalidate error and reset turned off output by resetting the CMS.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
This DTC covers short circuiting to ground and over-current. They cannot be electrically separated, because over-current could be caused by short circuiting the output to ground. It will not be possible to turn on the valve when this DTC is active, since the output is turned off when the fault persists. Consequently, the lock cannot be engaged.
Diagnostic depth
The valve (Component V10) controlling behavior of the differential lock for the rear axles, connected on PWM Output 1 (signal A3, ground A1), is over loaded.
