The EHS pump control output (PWM_OUT_3) is either short circuit to battery or open load.

• Check connectors and wiring running from the servo pump.

System reaction
• The electro hydraulic steering pump will always be set to active. • Not possible to detect sensor malfunction.

Detection
The DTC is set active if the PWM output duty cycle is 100% for 1000 ms. The DTC shall be set to inactive if the PWM output duty cycle is < 100% for 500 ms. The DTC is not set in the following cases: • system voltage is below 22V • system voltage is above 32V
Possible cause
• Defect wiring (short circuit to battery). • Defect connectors.
