β’ Stop the vehicle and wait until the temperature decreases. β’ Check connectors and wiring running from the EHS unit. β’ Check the EHS unit.

Detection
The DTC is set active if the temperature sensor signal is grounded for 3000 ms. The DTC is set inactive if the temperature sensor signal is not grounded for 3000 ms. The DTC is not set in the following cases: β’ system voltage is below 22V β’ system voltage is above 32V

β’ High temperature in the EHS unit's electrical pump motor. β’ Defect wiring or connectors.
