Clutch pedal redundant sensor short circuit to battery.
• Check wiring (to clutch pedal redundant sensor) • Check connectors (to clutch pedal redundant sensor) • Check clutch pedal redundant sensor • Measure the sensor voltage between signal and ground • Check clutch pedal mechanism
What you'll see
• Changing split gear is inhibited • Activation of clutch dependent PTO (e.g. PTO-EG) is inhibited, when engine is running • Some engine speed control modes ("PTO-modes") are inhibited • Cruise control is disabled (if the vehicle is not equipped with clutch by wire) • Adaptive Cruise control is disabled (if the vehicle is not equipped with clutch by wire)
System reaction
No system-reaction text recorded.
Diagnostic depth
Impermissible signal from the clutch pedal redundant sensor. The sensor voltage level is too high. The clutch sensor is short circuit to supply voltage.
• Defect wiring - open circuit on clutch ground (pin C25) - short circuit to supply voltage (pin C34) • Defect connectors • Defect clutch pedal redundant sensor (potentiometer) • Mechanically defect clutch pedal mechanism (causing clutch pedal sensor to reach an impermissible position)
