• Check wiring (to the immobilizer antenna coil) • Check connectors (to the immobilizer antenna coil) • Check the immobilizer antenna coil • Measure the supply voltage between pin C7 and pin C8. Should be close to 12 V.

Diagnostic depth
Immobilizer failure. Communication with immobilizer transponder key cannot be initiated. Defect wiring to immobilizer antenna coil or broken antenna coil.
• Defect wiring to the immobilizer antenna coil - open circuit, short circuit to ground or short circuit to supply on immobilizer key transmit signal (pin C5) - open circuit, short circuit to ground or short circuit to supply on immobilizer key receive signal (pin C6) - open circuit, short circuit to ground on immobilizer antenna coil 12 V supply (pin C8) - open circuit, short circuit to supply on immobilizer antenna coil ground (pin C7) • Defect connectors • Defect immobilizer antenna coil.
