Immobilizer failure. The Immobilizer (COO) has detected format errors in the communication with the starter key. No tranponder key put into starter lock or transponder key broken.
• Defect wiring to switch sensing that key is inserted (pin A20), short circuit to supply voltage. • Defect switch sensing that key is inserted, switch stuck in position corresponding to key inserted • Defect transponder in starter key • Key without immobilizer transponder inserted in starter lock
