Communication error or timeout on the LIN bus
• Measure the resistance (with the battery disconnected) between LIN-bus (pin B8) and supply. It should be high ohmic (Mega ohm). • Measure the resistance (with the battery disconnected) between LIN-bus (pin B8) and ground. It should be high ohmic (Mega ohm). • Check that all LIN node units are connected and that they are working. • Disconnect one LIN node unit at the time from the LIN-bus and check if the fault disappears. • Check if there is any short circuit in the connector for LIN bus (pin B8).

System reaction
• Switches connected to the LIN IO-node and Remote Control Units for air suspension functions will not work.
Diagnostic depth
Communication error. There is a short circuit on the LIN-bus to ground or supply voltage, or LIN unit(s) are missing on the LIN bus.
• Defect wiring of LIN-bus: - short circuit between LIN-bus and supply voltage. - short circuit between LIN-bus and ground. • Defect LIN unit(s) on the LIN-bus. • Missing LIN unit(s) on the LIN-bus.
