XBR system state error. BMS configuration fault. TO BE REMOVED, ONLY AFFECTS AEB and AICC
• Check DAS configuration. Spare part program the DAS unit if necessary. • Check BMS configuration. Spare part program the BMS unit if necessary. • Check the BMS for DTCs. • Check the BMS spare part number. Replace BMS unit if BMS SW does not support XBR.
What you'll see
AiCC shutdown. Disable AEB braking.
System reaction
• Instrument cluster will display AiCCMalfunctionWarning (if AiCC enable button is depressed). • Adaptive Cruise Control (AiCC) is inhibited. • AEB auto brake disabled, CW still active. Instrument cluster will display AEB reduced functionality.
Diagnostic depth
The DTC is set active if one of the following conditions is fulfilled for 1 second: • the CAN signal XBR-SystemState, in message ElectronicBrakeController5-A, does not have value "Any external brake demand will be accepted" (0x0) or • the CAN message ElectronicBrakeController5-A has been absent for 300 ms (i.e. 1300ms in total for this case) The DTC is set inactive when none of the above listed conditions are fulfilled, for at least 1 second. The DTC is not set in the following cases: • ignition is turned off • first 2 seconds after ignition on • during engine start/cranking • system voltage is below 22 volt • system voltage is above 32 volt • communication from BMS node is interrupted (separate DTC)
• DAS configuration fault (configured for AiCC in vehicle without AiCC). • BMS configuration fault (not configured for AiCC). • A BMS unit with software not compatible with the vehicle, has been installed. - E.g. a spare part BMS has been installed, which has an old software generation, not supporting XBR.
