• Check the RTC for DTCs • If DTCs can not be read from the RTC: - check CAN connection to RTC unit - check power supply and ignition signal to the RTC • Check wiring and connectors for the CAN-bus

System reaction
• Functions dependent on information from RTC are degraded.
Diagnostic depth
The DTC is set active if the CAN message ADASP1-RTC has been absent for 20 minutes. The DTC is set inactive when the CAN message ADASP1-RTC is received. The DTC is not set in the following cases: • ignition is turned off • first 2 seconds after ignition on • system voltage is below 22 volt • system voltage is above 30 volt • short circuit or open circuit on the CAN bus (separate DTCs)
• Faulty RTC unit • RTC unit disconnected from the CAN bus.
