What you'll see
Outputs may be enabled despite the fact that an unmanageable error has been detected. Power-supply to sensors may be unintentionally activated. This will affect the stay-alive functionality of the system and delay shut-down and increase power consumption when ignition is turned off.

Feedback signal OEW_Feedback indicates that the outputs are enabled even though the watchdog OEW_Ack_Toggle is not being toggled. The DTC is set to active if all conditions below have been fulfilled for more than 10 seconds. • The OEW toggling state from ComP == ‘Not toggling’ • OEW_Feedback == 'Enabled' The DTC is set to inactive if all conditions below have been fulfilled for more than 10 seconds. • The OEW toggling state from ComP == ‘Not toggling’ • OEW_Feedback == 'Disabled' The DTC is not set to active in the following cases: • Ignition is turned off. • First 2 seconds after ignition on. • System supply voltage (U30) is below 22 volt. • System supply voltage (U30) is above 32 volt.
