Secondary wake-up bus is short ciruit to battery. TO BE REMOVED
• Check wiring and connectors of the secondary wake-up bus. • Wait at least 22s after ignition on and then measure the voltage between the secondary wake-up bus and ground. At this time the bus should be low. Try to find where the fault is and if necessary, disconnect units from the secondary wake-up bus.
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
• All systems connected to the secondary wake-up bus might be held awake when ignition is off (possible drainage of battery).
Diagnostic depth
At start-up (2s after ignition on) the DAS will try to set the secondary wake-up bus (pin A2) to low for 10s. If the feedback of this pin is high during this time the DTC is activated. If the feedback is low during the 10s the DTC is set to inactive. The DTC is not set in the following cases: • first 2 seconds after ignition on. • system voltage is below 22V. • system voltage is above 32V.
• Defect wiring or connectors for the secondary wake-up bus. • Electrical error in any of the connected ECU:s.
