DIS2 – Unexpected sign Yaw rate
Perform: - Check for fault codes in the Brake Management System (BMS) - Make sure that the DIS2 mounting orientation is according to the mounting instructions - Make sure that the DIS2 is not lose - Sparepart programming - Calibrate the unit
What you'll see
No driver-visible symptom recorded.
System reaction
Functions dependent on a fully operational DIS2 are degraded. Examples listed below. - target detection - target selection - path prediction - misalignment detection DIS2 will be degraded. DIS2 target output will be error.
Diagnostic depth
This DTC is set active if VDC2_A YawRate has been determined to have incorrect sign compared to internal measured yaw rate.
This can occur: - when the VDC2_A YawRate signal is sent with incorrect sign. This could be caused by a fault in the Brake Management System (BMS) - if the DIS2 is incorrectly mounted or lose
